About Us

Summers at Rouge Hill Sports Camp provide kids with an ideal environment to grow physically, socially and emotionally. Our philosophy is that children need guidance more than they need instruction – in other words, we don't dictate their path, we let them discover it for themselves.

Our Core Team

Adam Buchnea - OCT, Hon. B. of Kin

Director & Founder - Rouge Camps

Rouge Camps is a passion for Adam, who has built the camp from a dream into a full service day camp provider that meets parents and campers needs across the GTA.  Adam's career focus is developing young leaders and educating youth of the importance of excercise.  This career focus has been paired with Adam's belief in the benefits of camp for children.  While working at Muskoka Woods camp, Adam witnessed campers grow in confidence and mature in mere weeks.  Operating Rouge Camps is a natural way for Adam to develop young leaders into healthy optimistic young adults, during his summers off from teaching at Tommy Douglas Secondary School.

Adam enjoys travelling and has visited over 30 contries on four continents.  He is a big fan of all sports citing the Leafs, Raptors, Jays and Patriots as his favorite teams.  In his spare time Adam golfs, plays hockey and spends time with his beautiful wife.
